Advice from the 2019-20 Head Pupils

We interviewed our school’s 2019-20 Head Pupils, Victor and Sofia, now studying Economics and Political Science respectively, about their lives after school. Both are very grateful for the assistance and support from teachers at LES, especially to Mrs. Wickman for her help throughout the university application process. Victor explained that he had had problems going to university during COVID-19, having to study online because of travel restrictions. Sofia and Victor gave some suggestions for future head pupils, including:

• Don’t be afraid to ask for help. According to Sofia, “the worst thing you can do is think that you are able to do everything by yourselves”.

• Always remain committed. Victor recommends pursuing your ideas and reforms no matter how challenging it may be.
