APASA Dog Shelter

APASA is the official dog shelter and rehoming centre in Javea.

Their aim is to give all stray and unwanted dogs a foster or forever home. APASA was founded in 1999 by a group of people to act against the misery that abandoned, mistreated and lost dogs in Javea were facing. Since then it has re-homed over 5000 dogs.

Apasa relies heavily on volunteers: working in the shelter, walking dogs and participating in their many fund-raising events.
