Goodbye, LES!

No time in the year passes quite like the last few days of school. The nostalgia, anticipation, and excitement as we simultaneously look forward to the summer holidays and are struck with sadness at the prospect of leaving school. For some, this school year has flown by, and for others, it barely crawled. It has been no bed of roses for anyone, and yet we got here.

And we have thrived. Student-led initiatives raised thousands for charities. Chess, MUN, and sports clubs started up. Every student found success somewhere, somehow, making a year so full of gloomy predictions one instead full of growth.

“For,” in the immortal words of Amanda Gorman, “There is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it”.
