Women's day is an opportunity to celebrate women’s many achievements and contributions to the world we live in today.
Feminists throughout centuries fought so that women could be treated as equals to men, so that women could have jobs and the right to vote.
Women's Day is celebrated to honour all these people, without whose blood, sweat and toil today’s world may have been a very different place.
“Feminism isn't about making women stronger. Women are already strong. It's about changing the way the world perceives that strength.” - G. D. Anderson.
