2 of music’s greatest legends have come back this month with 2 magnificent albums. These are Adele and Taylor Swift.
Adele’s fourth studio album “30” was announced on October 15th upon the release of the lead single “Easy On Me”, which is the second track in the album. The album is filled with emotional jazz, pop, and soul ballads that tell the story of her divorce. The extensive promotional campaign for the album included a CBS Concert Special titled “Adele One Night Only”, which featured an interview with none other than Oprah Winfrey, followed by an ITV Concert Special titled “An Audience With Adele”.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift is back with her second re-recorded album, “Red (Taylor’s Version)”. It is a re-recording of her fourth studio album “Red”, which was released back in 2012. Reviews described the album as a classic pop record combining Swift's country roots with electronic, synth-pop, and rock flairs, whilst mixing various dynamics of love, life, loss, and heartache. The album broke several records, including the 2 colossal Spotify records and the Highest Vinyl LP Sales in a week in the history of MRC Data.
