On the 21st of June, Y10 students who are taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award this year went on a practice expedition. The group set off from school and walked across the Cumbre down to Granadella beach.

They stopped at checkpoints to ensure that they were going along the right route. At Granadella, a kayaking trip was arranged which allowed students to explore the ocean and see different marine animals. Though the day was very hot, the trip was still fun.
This walk was a perfect way to practice the real Duke of Edinburgh expedition which some students will participate in later on.
