Flex Day

29 November 2020

On Thursday, November 19th, there was a second Flex Day here at the Lady Elizabeth School. Most of the Year Groups competed for their house in fun and engaging PE tournaments. The sports played were Basketball, Badminton, and Football. The Year 7s playing football were apparently extra-enthusiastic, as their chants and cheers were heard echoing across the whole school.

Although the tournaments were fun, the Year 9s had a double-period English test in the morning. We hope they did very well and wish them the best of luck! The school also had a visitor, who taught students about mindfulness with some relaxing yoga poses. Some students also had the opportunity to learn how to play the drums and later perform on the patio.

Overall, a lot of the pupils were much happier with this Flex Day and had a great time. If you have any Flex Day suggestions email Mrs. Dickens, who is part of the Flex Day committee, or Mr. Davidson: what you do is up to you!
