Halloween at LES

30 October 2020

Double, double, toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble. According to the terrifying costumes Halloween students wore on the last day before half term, Spooky Season is officially here.

On the 23rd of October, Halloween was celebrated at LES with KS3 engaging in several Halloween themed activities and the whole school dressing up in their favourite, chilling costumes. Year 7 watched a movie in the theatre and years 8 and 9 visited a candy stand in the last period which sold different flavoured lollipops and other goodies.

The winners of the Halloween costume contest are still unknown, but there were so many magnificent, creative costumes that it will be hard to choose; everyone's costume was a winning costume! It was delightful seeing so much breathtaking creativity and effort put into the costumes.

We can't wait till next year!
