LES Wins ISP Film Festival

On the 16th of June, our school won the ISP Film Festival with their short film, titled Spin. The film, produced by 8 LES students in Years 10, 11, and 12, follows the story of a group of friends whose day hanging out ultimately results in the death of one of them. They are then plagued with guilt over their actions which led to the character’s death.

Sasha Langley-Smith, one of the actors, told us that she participated as she aspires to become an actress. She explained that it was an experience that taught her “a lot about teamwork” and elements of filmmaking.
